We are more than conquerors by our Master's Resurrection. The key of Eternal Life was delivered after the stone was rolled away and the grave released His Body. The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him. Now I have told you."(Matthew 28:5-7, New International Version).
The morning of the third day after Jesus Crucifixion brought the confirmation of God's Words in Genesis: And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head (Genesis 3:15a,). Jesus completely defeated the power that made Adam and Eve to fall. The assurance of God's Mercy was demonstrated in sending His Son to lead man to Salvation. The enemy has been completely destroyed when Jesus Christ conquered death with His Divine resurrection Power.
The coverage/assistance of the Holy Spirit which followed His Resurrection and Ascension symbolises the caring nature of our God. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6).
The guidance of the Holy Spirit exists to lead the way according to God's Plan. Jesus made the Message very clear by revealing The Father's Divine Plan. He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms." Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, "This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high." (Luke 24:44-49).
Christ's Resurrection gives believers the assurance of The Resurrection power and victory over sins. It is the power that assures Eternal Life. Jesus conquered death, so that the believers can also triumph over physical death and live eternally.
May we be able to relate with the words of Paul I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, (Philippians 3:10). Life with Christ guarantees a continuous existence in His Kingdom after earthly journey.
Let us rely on His words, believing that we shall enter His Heavenly Glory one day and live with Him forever. I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory." "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:50-58).
Christ is alive and living according to His Message and will keep us alive forever.
