Thirst For His Word
The Word was at the beginning and it will remain till the end of the age. “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” (Isaiah 40:8 NIV). The revelation and fulfillment of the past, present and future is in God's Word. What ever is manifesting now is recorded in The Scriptures. There is nothing currently happening that is strange or entirely new. The Truth of every matter is written in The Lines of The Holy Bible. Let us endeavour to read and study The Word of God.
The year is half gone, and there is always a season for everything as recorded in Ecclesiastes 3. Which season are you in? Which season is your family in? Which season is your neighbour in? How far have you gone to rejoice or strengthen one another with The Word of God. Let us look into The Bible in every occasion. The solution is in there. The Power in The Bible makes one to be invincible.
We need to discover the hidden Treasures in The the Scriptures. Unless one thirsts for The Word, the Nuggets cannot be discovered. There must be a yearning to find out more about God's Word. The Key that unlocks every door and gate is hidden in God's Word. The desire to know more of the Anointed Word should be paramount. The Word always gives light and direction “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105).
Let us spend the remaining six months of this year with the zeal to get deeper into The Word. The Word of God will quench every thirst of lack and needs. “But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:25).
The Bible directs us how to:
(Psalm 109:30-31 NIV).
Private study of The Word is essential and Group study is also very necessary for more clarification, and Divine Growth. The Word of God is forever refreshing. "But the word of God continued to spread and flourish.” (Acts 12:24).
