There is only one Jesus Christ. All others who claim to be Jesus are counterfeits, (Matt 24:24-26, King James Version). The only genuine Christ is the One who was originally with God from the beginning of beginnings – John 1:1. In this study, we shall look at John 1:3, from where we answer many questions, such as: who created heaven and earth, death, evil, darkness etc, and why? May God grant us divine insight as we do so.
Who created all things? God the Father through the Son Jesus Christ as we see in Col 1:16-19, John 1:3.
Why were they created? They are and were created for His pleasure, as Rev 4:11 says, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Out of what were they created? They were created out of nothing, according to Hebrews 11:3, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Who is the Caretaker of the universe? Jesus Christ is He and He is God the Son as revealed in 1 Cor 8:6, But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Jesus Christ is the brain behind all inventions through the knowledge He gives to man (Prov 8:12, Daniel 12:4). Who appoints Presidents, Kings and Governments? Who removes them? He is Jesus Christ – (Prov 8:15-16). He is Jesus Christ – (Isaiah 40:22-23, John 12:21,24-25). We see examples of God's power in establishing and removing kings and powers in the lives of Herod (Acts 12:21-23), Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4:24-33) and Saul (1 Samuel 16:1).
Why did God create darkness and evil? It is because without darkness, light cannot be appreciated, nor good appreciated without evil – (Gen 1:1-3) (light dispels darkness here), (Gen 3:9-11).
Are there any benefits from sorrow and trials? Yes, they teach patience – (James 1:3-4), and build character
Why did He create heaven and the earth? Heaven is for Him to inhabit and earth is His footstool, (Isaiah 66:1).
Have you any relation in heaven? Yes, at least our Brother (Jesus Christ) is in heaven with the Father, (Colossians 1:18).
How far is heaven? It is near enough for God to reach us and hear us, (John 4:24).
Conclusion: God is the true and only Creator; no other one besides Him.
