Emotional pain goes deeper than physical pain. Satan attacks the mind of man and adds sorrow in the process. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy...(John 10:10 a, New International Version). It takes much from one anytime the enemy appears, especially in a canny way; but brethren, be assured of God’s faithfulness. Remember that God does not allow His people to be ashamed; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning(Psalm 30:5b). There is a call to surrender all to God. He will turn the bad situation around for His Glory. Give everything to God and He will make everything better. You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, (Genesis 50:20).
It is precisely at such times that God comes to our rescue because He is only a present help in trouble. Without such trouble, we may have to call before he answers, but whenever we are in trouble, He is right there with us.
Prayers Join in praying for the lonely and the oppressed. Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? (Isaiah 58:6).
Pray for those who are in bondage. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36). We are super-victorious in God’s Hands. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us(Romans 8:37). Just surrender all to The LORD. He will take care of the battle. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give all of you into our hands(1 Samuel 17:47).
