Is the raging storm rocking your boat or the boisterous wind blowing contrary to your expectations? The LORD says "Peace, be still” (Mark 4:39, New King James Version). Is your heart heavily burdened with cares or fears? The LORD says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”(Matthew 11:28). Is your joy withered like the grass or are your days like a shadow that lengthens? The LORD says, "I will pour out My Spirit on you” (Prov. 1:23). and times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19).
Are you in despair or perplexed amidst your troubles wondering when He will show up? The Lord says, Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me(John 14:1), for He is a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The Almighty God has not forgotten His people. He remembers us at all times no matter what challenges we are facing. Our God is faithful; He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear for He always provides a way of escape. Though He may not show up according to our timing, He will definitely come and not tarry. The LORD said, Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me (Isaiah 49:15-16).
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior(Isaiah 43:2-3). For He Himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you(Hebrews 13:5). God bears us up on eagles’ wings and underneath we are in His everlasting arms. So encourage yourself in the LORD by His word, trusting Him at all times.
God Visits His People The following passages show that God frequently visits His people. The LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken (Genesis 21:1).God will surely visit you (Genesis 50:24).You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit (Job 10:12).I have surely seen the oppression of my people…I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them (Acts 7:34).
God will surely visit you at His own time, whether it be the first, second, third or fourth watch. He makes everything beautiful in His time and according to that time will He favor Zion. Just hold on and be anxious for nothing.
God Remembers You: According to these scriptures, God remembers His people. Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb, (Genesis 30:22). And you will be remembered before the LORD your God (Numbers 10:9); And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the LORD remembered her, (1 Samuel 1:19), He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel, (Psalm 98:3), He remembers His covenant forever, (Psalm 105:8); Who remembered us in our lowly state, for His mercy endures forever,(Psalm 136:23).
So, be of good cheer in your afflictions for He knows what you are going through. He will ever be mindful of you and remembers you are the apple of His eye. His banner over you is LOVE!
God Answers Your Call according to the following passages: Job 14:15, You shall call, and I will answer you. Psalm 20:9, Save LORD! May the King answer us when we call. Psalm 50:15, Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. Psalm 91:15. He shall call upon ME, and I will answer him.Psalm 138:3, In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul. Isaiah 58:9, Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am’.
If God does answer, then just call on Him. As a child of God you have a part to play in the tests and trials that we must endure. You have been equipped and endowed with His power to live beyond your challenges. So, as you wait on the LORD in anticipation of an answer, here are some truths to rely on:
Trust in Him at all times. (Psalm 62:8).
Speak life (the WORD) into your challenges.
Prophesy to the dried bones in your circumstances to be revived by His Spirit. Jesus Christ said, "The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” John 6:63).
Encourage yourself in the LORD like David. (1 Samuel 30:6). Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Rest in the LORD. (Psalm 37:10).
Look unto Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Finally, may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered (tested and tried) a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you (1 Peter 5:10).
God Saves: For you who question God’s existence and blame God for all the calamities going on in the world right now, the saying goes that there is no smoke without fire. Could God be using all the global devastation to grab your attention so that ultimately you may draw closer to Him? For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Jesus Christ is the propitiation for our sins; He was crucified, died, and resurrected from the grave so that you might live and not be condemned. He is your Savior, He is your hope; without Him life is worthless. Come to Jesus Christ today and live. May the God of peace rule your heart and mind through Christ Jesus our Lord. AMEN! Be Blessed.
